The Tunas Muda Renovation started with the hypotheses “How to elevate the brand of the school, then crete new function on the rooftop of the building ? what are the minimal way , to do the interventions while the shool is running below ?”
The question of the design, is based of the tight schedule, budget. This school is one of the RAW Architecture’s client. We started conversation of the material, and expectation. One thing that they want to is to reduce the costing of the paint. The school is agreed to use alumunium composite as starting point. We try to cover and mitigate the rain fall issues, and shading on the west – east side of the building, and ease the cleaning of the window.
Also the facade is improved by adding cleaner/easier operation of the bay window installed, The colour then simplified to two goldish, silverish composition.
