RAW Architecture
Our design process is started by building hypotheses. It's about asking many questions about the climate, the program, the problem that project has. The brief then formulated into several iterations to be discussed with client. This initial discussion is very important to explore as many conceptions as possible to create the best result.There are several questions ussualy address during this process :
1. State of climate, rainfall, temperature, overhang, existing trees.
2. State of programs including circulation to public - private, specific use of the rooms, and relation to the daily basis. It's also about the flexibility of space.
3. State of problem in current and 5 - 10 - 20 years ahead. This is to note that the instution might change, upgrade, and relate to the vision of the clients.
4. State of technological state, the idea of technology varies on two pin point, low and high and how to combine both, and how to appropriate both of the streams.
Our state is to explore, and to optimalise each of the problem, and maintain maximum impact with minimum touch. This then, continued by another phase of design, such as working drawing, tender process, site supervision, until project hand over.
